I always love having students work in my office. One even came into my office and fell asleep (bottom right corner). Journalism is hard work.
Qatar has been in the headlines daily since our March trip there. We were in Qatar with laptops when the US announced a ban on electronics on flights. Packing student computers and other electronics in bubble wrap and hard cases before sending them off with checked luggage.
The press is not the “enemy of the American people.” I am proud to be teaching young journalists to go out into the world and tell the truth. I pray they will always have the freedom to do so.
